At a ceremony, the dog Kaiser Bill was killed and was prepared to be eaten, much to my mother’s disagreement. My uncle Three Fingers, siding with my mother, refused to eat the dog. He gave his reason for refusing the food, saying, "the soup is green". –Harvey Pratt
